2006 Cessna 172SP

This new 2006 Cessna 172SP is the most recent
addition to our fleet along with N6026S. These two aircraft are known in the
industry as Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA’s) because they are equipped
with Garmin G1000 glass cockpits and are coupled to 2 axis autopilots with
altitude pre-select. The G1000 includes advanced GPS functions, XM weather, TIS
traffic, and terrain awareness. The G1000 provides new levels of redundancy,
vast information resources and increased control for pilots. Due to its
complexity and “non-standard” instrumentation, TAA’s require some ground school
and flight training prior to solo flight, depending on the pilot’s existing
level of familiarity with the systems. Seating is all leather with many
improvements over earlier C172’s.
